That in July 2001, New York Times reporter Judith Miller was told by an anonymous White House source leaking classified NSA intelligence that a "large, well-coordinated attack" launched by Al Qaeda on US soil was about to occur. Miller now "regrets" that she didn't report the story and let the public in on her little secret she received from her "connections."

No such reticence characterized Miller's prewar reporting that Iraq was overflowing with weapons of mass destruction. On that issue, Miller was more than willing to serve as a conduit for Washington's lie that Hussein was poised to unleash weapons of mass destruction against the United States.

As Miller says: "You know, sometimes in journalism you regret the stories you do, but most of the time you regret the ones that you didn't do."

The verdict is already in on Miller's worth as a "journalist." History will view her as a media propagandist and shill for US imperialism who played a central role in the deception of the American people leading up to Washington's criminal aggression in Iraq.

That a CNN poll shows that 82% of Americans share actor Charlie Sheen's doubts about the official version of September 11 and support his call for an independent investigation of what really happened that day?

That a top-secret military intelligence unit code-named "Able Danger" identified four Sept. 11 hijackers as Al Qaeda operatives? [NY Times, Aug. 9, 2005]

That Able Danger presented a chart with visa photographs of Mohammed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Midhdar to the Pentagon's Special Operations Command and recommended the information be given to the FBI?

That Edmonds, a Turkish-American who speaks Farsi, Arabic and Turkish, passed a polygraph given by the FBI?

That, in the course of translating tapes and documents seized by agents after arresting terrorist suspects, Edmonds learned of terrorist money laundering and specific plots involving the use of airplanes as weapons, and "specific individuals and activities"?

That Edmonds says there was enough information to have had an orange or red-alert in place by June or July of 2001?

That this is precisely when former counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke warned the Federal Aviation Administration, the Coast Guard, Customs, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, and the FBI "of an impending attack. Did you know that FEMA spokesman Tom Kenney admitted this in a statement to  Dan Rather on Sept. 12?

That FEMA initially denied this was the case, claiming Kenny misstated his team's arrival date "in the heat of the moment?"

That former NYC mayor Rudolph Giuliani confirmed in his testimony before the 9/11 Commission that "...the reason Pier 92 was selected as a command center was because on the next day, September 12, Pier 92 was going to have a drill, it had hundreds of people there, from FEMA, from the Federal Government, from the State, from the State Emergency Management Office, and they were getting ready for a drill for biochemical attack."
